Thank You for Submitting Your Teeth
The Jawline Review would like to personally thank you for taking the massive leap that is submitting to a literary journal. Even though we are but a humble, mad pen loving archive pressed into pixels and paperbacks, we know that for some writers, submitting is easy, for others - not so much. Thank you for taking this step forward. We can not wait to meeting the demand of your creativity.
The Reason We Love Mad Pens with Gut-Busting Punctuality
It is no mystery that we adore mad pens with gut-busting punctuality (just read our Twitter feed). Our reason? Simple. These scribblers are honing in on themselves, on their local scene, on pop-culture, on nature, on religion and trying to make sense of an ever evolving state of being -
us
.
Our editor admires classic authors like Jack Kerouac, poets such as Sam Cook, Anis Mojgani, Allen Ginsberg because they are mad pens making sense of it all. Whether it be through thin walls of an apartment, to the misheard words of the pledge of allegiance, all the way to the boxcars, boxcars, boxcars of the world. The Jawline craves to see you make sense of it all in your own, punctual, mad way.
We trust in the habits that make us human.
To fuller notebooks and moving cursors,
Tristan Cody (Editor).
